Last week, a group of representatives of the Argentine Lawyers Association met with Messrs. Francisco Javier Quintana and Alberto Biglieri, representatives of the Judiciary Council of the City of Buenos Aires (Consejo de la Magistratura de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires) at the Consulate General of Argentina in New York, as part of their visit to New York and Washington D.C. to learn more about the judicial system in the U.S. Daniel R. Alonso, External Relations Chair of our Association shared his knowledge of the judicial selection processes in the United States. We also had the chance to discuss potential ways of collaboration between our Organizations. We thank Rodrigo Agustin Miranda (Deputy Consul) and Andrés Höner (representative of the Judiciary Council) for arranging this meeting.
