On November 22, 2022, the Argentine Lawyers Association DC Chapter co-sponsored with the Embassy of Argentina a Dialogue entitled ‘The Malvinas issue: Practical Tools to Safeguard the Argentine Position’
Ambassador Jorge Argüello and Marcelo Octavio de Jesus (DC Chapter co-organizer) made the opening remarks. Argentine Lawyers Association member Gonzalo Paz gave an excellent and informative presentation on the Malvinas issue, followed by Minister Agustin Cardenes from the Embassy who introduced practical instances for safeguarding the Argentine position.
The president of the Hispanic National Bar Association, Mariana Bravo, and Laura Bocalandro (DC Chapter co-organizer) were also present at this event.
