Invited by the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Argentine Lawyers Association of New York, Rafael Mathus Ruiz (US Correspondent, La Nación) and Benjamin Gedan (Deputy Director at The Wilson Center‘s Latin American Program and director of the Center’s Argentina Project) exchanged views on how the Argentine administration negotiates the payment of the debt with bondholders. In a talk as entertaining as it was informative, they also referred to the uncertainty of the U.S. presidential elections to take place on November, the cases of Vicentin and LATAM and the role that the Inter-American Development Bank and China could have as creditors of Argentina.
