Launch of “Rincon Argentino”

The Argentine Lawyers Association (ALA) and the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) launched the RINCÓN ARGENTINO to strengthen the links between the members of both associations and develop links, interests, and business with Argentina. The Argentine Embassy represented by Commercial Attaché, Minister Juan Manuel Cortelletti, and General Consul Georgina Distefano highlighted opportunities for investment in Argentina. There was a panel discussion “Opening Doors Between Argentina and the United States” with Argentine members of HNBA and our Association moderated by Gonzalo Paz, with Lucas Loviscek, Daniel R. Alonso, Ivana Kriznic, and María Julia Milesi, comparing their experiences working in both Argentina and the United States. We are grateful to HNBA President Mariana Bravo, HBA-DC President Shirley Diaz, Esq., ALA-DC Co-organizers laura bocalandro and Marcelo Octavio de Jesus for organizing such an interesting event. We also thank Latham & Watkins for hosting and providing such a wonderful setting.
